How I Helped Raise +$200,000 for Christian Education
In the fall of 2021, NWCS hosted its annual event titled, "Impact"
I led Event promotion, marketing, communication, website development and management, event assets (such as programs, sponsor graphics, videos, etc) and more to help bring together a powerful community event.
Case Study - Impact Brand Development
The Impact logo design used our company logo "crest" as a jumping off point, utilizing our brand Green and three colors representing our three major event themes: Faith, Hope, and Love. The droplets exploding out from the center symbolize motion, impact, lasting effect, and include a lowercase "i" for Impact, and even a cross - a meaningful symbol to the organization.

Our next task was getting the right people in the room - we wanted this to be a community event where people could be reminded of what NWCS truly is and how you feel when you are part of the community. But, we could not lose sight of the overall goal of raising funds. We used a cross-channel approach to market the event to parents, donors, grandparents, staff members, and philanthropists.
Results:
Event registration went into overflow - we maxed out at 300 registrants, and we raised over $200,000 for NWCS, over $50,00 higher than in the past. Fun was had and community was built. The event was a resounding success!
